Take Home A Young Cat

Many people like kittens, they are energetic, they are fun and they can grow up and be companions with our own children through the course of their lives. At Heartland Cat Rescue, we don’t adopt kittens until they are at least four months old and/or two pounds. That is due to the fact, that’s the minimum for any kitten to be spayed or neutered and to have their shots. That being said – there are many opportunities to foster very young kittens until they have been properly processed for adoption. Of course, fosters get first choice when adoption time rolls around.
